I once read a book that said that the happiest people are the ones who spend their time doing things that are directly correlated to their happiness. For example, consider these two circumstances..
Q: “Why are you in this job?”
A: “To make money”
Q: “Why do you want to make money?”
A: “To buy things, support my life, eat etc.”
Q: “What is the benefit of all of that stuff?”
A: “It makes me happy.”
vs.
Q: “Why are you in this job?”
A: “It makes me happy.”
