Conscious Eating: HOW You Eat is as Important as WHAT You Eat (Tip 1 of 3)

Here’s tip number one of three about conscious eating.

It’s really important to think about your beliefs about your body, and listen to what it’s intending to tell you. If you trust that your body wants to be healthy and thin, and you understand that there are mechanisms in your body that tell you when you’re hungry and when you’re full, you can learn to trust your body.
These days we’re so disconnected and distracted, that we don’t pay attention to the signals our bodies are giving us. And if we can really set the intention to get quiet and listen, our bodies will tell us exactly when to eat, and exactly when to stop.

The Most Important Parenting Tip

Today I have a tip for you about parenthood. This tip is a good one!

Think for yourself. There is so much information out there, good, bad, it’s contradictory. You should do this, you shouldn’t do this, everyone has an opinion, everyone has a theory.
Because of that, it’s really important for you to get quiet and clear, and trust in yourself. What is right for you and your family isn’t necessarily right for everybody else. When you hear all of those different ideas, topics, and suggestions, take it all with a grain of salt, and determine what you need.
When I gave birth to my babies in a bathtub at home, everyone thought I was crazy, but that was what was in alignment with the needs of my life and my family. So everyone has to do what they have to do. Trust in yourself, and that you know what’s best for your family.

How to Feel Less Stressed About Money (Tip 3 of 3)

Today, I’m still talking about ways to feel less stressed about money. This is tip 3 of 3.

Think of money as a game. Think of making money as a game that you’re playing. This isn’t your life, this isn’t of importance and you are not the piece, you are the player.
When we think that we’re a piece in the money game, it creates an attachment that disconnects us from our actual truth, our soul, and we can get really caught up in the things that don’t actually matter most in life.
So, play the a game, get really good at the game, be the best at the game, but always remember that it’s still a game, and that you are not the piece, you are the player.

How to Feel Less Stressed About Money (Tip 2 of 3)

Today, we’re still talking about how to be less stressed about money. Here’s tip number two of three.

Realize that we work to live, not live to work. I know it’s a cliché, and a lot of people say it, but really think about it.
We do this work, work, work, thing, and then that work becomes our life, and then we forget how to live. When we start working to live, and we focus on the “living” part, and the “enjoying” part, and the “experiencing” part of our lives, then the stress about money becomes smaller.
The reason we try to make money is so that we can live more fully. So if we just focus on living more fully, then we’re already achieving what it is that we’re setting out to achieve.
