Got Balance? Be Yourself!
The Genie in the Disney movie Aladdin said it best: “Beeeeee Yourself!” It’s easy to get discouraged when you consistently measure yourself by other people’s standards. It’s also dangerous to log on to Facebook, look around, and unwittingly compare your insides to other people’s outsides. We all can seem successful and happy on the surface, but as the saying goes “Be Kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” Remember to have compassion for yourself and others just as you are.
