Got Balance? Honor Your Own Needs.
For those of us who have a tendency to be givers, it is easy to get lost in the needs of others, or even the demands of our family and jobs. As important as it is to lend a helping hand, you must support yourself in the same way. Learn to speak your mind and value your own opinion, which can sometimes get lost in the mix. Also, take time alone to rejuvenate. Some good self-care practices are taking time out to go to the gym, take a yoga class, eat a meal by yourself, or take a relaxing bubble bath.
