Got Balance? Celebrate Your Successes

Many of us track our goals by creating to-do lists. Often, it can seem like the list is never-ending and there is always more to do and further to go. However, make sure as you cross things off and accomplish tasks and projects, you reward yourself for a job well done.
Keep the old list with all the checkmarks visible where you can see not just where you have to go, but also where you’ve been. Too often we don’t give ourselves enough credit for what we do, taking our successes for granted and focusing just on the next mountain of things that await us.  You may even want to keep a jar where you can write your achievements on slips of paper and read them all again in next New Year’s Eve!
