Have you ever spent lots of time and energy stressing out about reaching a certain goal, and then found it rather anti-climactic 5 minutes after you achieved it? (The 5 minutes are for the momentary excitement and relief.) I find that so often we get caught up focusing on the destination that we forget to enjoy the journey. As cliche as this saying has become, it really does take effort to remind ourselves to enjoy the ride.
