Today we’re going to talk about when you doubt yourself as a parent.

Doubting your parenting skills is so natural and so easy to do.

One thing that I find particularly helpful is this: when I see the joy, the love, the purity, and the innocence of my children, I try to remember that that’s me too. That’s the purity and the essence of who I am, and my soul. I try to remember to be kinder to myself, and to trust that just seeing my kids as that essence, loving them, not getting in their way, and letting them be who they are, is better for both of us.

So remember: loving yourself for your essence and loving your kids for their essence.
