Hate Your Body? Consider this.

Don’t like your body very much? You’re not alone.

A lot of us really struggle with this issue. People hate their body, wish they had a different one, judge it, pinch their fat, and all of these things. In addition, a lot of people think that they’ll stop hating their body when, and if, it gets better. That’s not how it works.
Learning how to love our body isn’t by getting a better body, but by actually understanding that the body we have is our vessel.
Say to yourself:
“This body is not me. When I die, it will still be here, and I will not be. Right now I live inside of it, and in order for me to love it, it doesn’t matter what it looks like. I need to take care of it, because it is my home for the rest of this lifetime.”
So in order to stop hating our body, we need to love that it is the home for our soul.
